...ANOTHER SIGNIFICANT WINTER WEATHER SYSTEM TO IMPACT THE
WESTERN AND CENTRAL MOUNTAINS THIS WEEKEND...

LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO FALL PERIODICALLY ACROSS THE NORTHWEST
MOUNTAINS...PARTICULARLY BETWEEN THE TETONS AND THE
NORTHERN YELLOWSTONE REGION...THROUGH THE DAY AND EVENING ON FRIDAY.
HOWEVER...BEHIND THIS A MUCH STRONGER WINTER WEATHER SYSTEM WILL BE
BREWING WITH INCREASED MOISTURE AND STRONGER FORCING ALLOWING FOR
MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW TO EXPAND ACROSS THE REGION THROUGH THE DAY
ON SATURDAY...LASTING THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT PERIOD INTO SUNDAY
MORNING. IN GENERAL...NEW SNOWFALL OF 8 TO 16 INCHES IN THE
MOUNTAINS...WITH MORE ACROSS FAVORED HIGH ELEVATION SLOPES...WILL BE
POSSIBLE FROM FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING. THE VALLEYS COULD
SEE ANYWHERE FROM 4 TO 8 INCHES OF THE WHITE STUFF OVER THE SAME
PERIOD OF TIME.
