WEATHER SYNOPSIS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
311 AM CST SUN FEB 26 2017

...STORMY END TO FEBRUARY IN THE MAKING...

TUESDAY COULD BE AN ACTIVE WEATHER DAY ACROSS THE QUAD STATE
REGION AS A SERIES OF DISTURBANCES ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE ACROSS THE
AREA. STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS APPEAR TO BE A GOOD
POSSIBILITY FOR THE LAST DAY OF FEBRUARY.

PRIOR TO TUESDAY, LOOK FOR SHOWERS TO BUILD INTO THE REGION FROM
THE WEST LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT CONTINUING INTO MONDAY.
THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL DEVELOP FROM THE SOUTHWEST MONDAY NIGHT,
PEAKING ON TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
SHOULD EXIT THE QUAD STATE REGION BY MIDDAY ON WEDNESDAY.

TEMPERATURES WILL BE NEAR NORMAL TODAY...TOPPING OUT IN THE
LOWER 50S. UPPER 50S ARE EXPECTED ON MONDAY, WITH LOWER 70S
ON TUESDAY AS A WARM FRONT MOVES NORTH OF THE REGION.

AS A COLD FRONT PUSHES INTO THE AREA ON WEDNESDAY, TEMPERATURES
WILL FALL FROM THE 60S AND 70S, DOWN INTO THE 50S ON THURSDAY AND
FRIDAY. A GRADUAL WARM UP INTO THE 60S WILL RETURN FOR NEXT
WEEKEND.

DRY WEATHER SHOULD DOMINATE THE REGION FROM LATE WEDNESDAY INTO
NEXT WEEKEND.
