CAROLINA MOUNTAINS THROUGH AT LEAST TUESDAY...

.COLD AND MOIST NORTHWEST WINDS WILL RESULT IN DEVELOPMENT OF
SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SNOW SHOWERS THROUGH AT LEAST TUESDAY
ACROSS THE NORTH CAROLINA AND GEORGIA MOUNTAINS. ACCUMULATING
SNOWFALL WILL MAINLY BE CONFINED TO THE COUNTIES ALONG THE
TENNESSEE BORDER. HOWEVER...SOME LOCATIONS TO THE EAST AND
SOUTHEAST COULD ALSO SEE ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL ON A LOCALIZED

A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM
EST TUESDAY. THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* LOCATIONS...AVERY COUNTY IN NORTH CAROLINA.

* HAZARDS...PERIODS OF SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW THROUGH TONIGHT. IN
  ADDITION... NORTHWEST WINDS COMBINED WITH TEMPERATURES IN THE
  SINGLE DIGITS WILL RESULT IN WIND CHILL VALUES OF 5 TO 15 BELOW
  ZERO IN ELEVATIONS ABOVE 3500 FEET TUESDAY NIGHT.

* TIMING...SNOW SHOWERS WILL OCCUR TONIGHT THROUGH AT LEAST
  TUESDAY...WITH THE GREATEST POTENTIAL FOR ACCUMULATION DURING
  THIS EVENING. DEEP MOISTURE AND STRENGTHENING NORTHWEST WINDS

  NIGHT. WIND CHILL VALUES WILL FALL BELOW 5 DEGREES BELOW ZERO
  TUESDAY EVENING ACROSS THE HIGH ELEVATIONS...AND CONTINUE
  THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING.

  THROUGH DAYBREAK TUESDAY.

* IMPACTS...SNOW AND SNOW PACKED ROADS WILL MAKE TRAVEL DANGEROUS.
  SNOW ACCUMULATION AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS COULD RESULT IN A FEW
  DOWNED TREES. WIND CHILL VALUES OF LESS THAN 5 DEGREES BELOW
