   DIMINISHING ON THANKSGIVING DAY. THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED
   LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING...WHEN SNOWFALL RATES MAY EXCEED
   1 INCH PER HOUR.

 * IN OPEN AREAS NEAR LAKE SUPERIOR...NORTH WINDS GUSTING TO AROUND
   25 MPH LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT WILL CAUSE PATCHY BLOWING
   SNOW.

 * BY LATE THANKSGIVING MORNING...PLAN ON TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF
   8 TO 12 INCHES OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN FROM IRONWOOD AND WAKEFIELD
   TO THE PORCUPINE MOUNTAINS AND WHITE PINE WITH 4 TO 8 INCHES ALONG
   THE REST OF LAKE SUPERIOR. THERE WILL BE NO MORE THAN 2 TO 4
   INCHES WELL INLAND FROM WATERSMEET TO PAULDING.
