Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
738 AM MST Mon Feb 19 2018

.Discussion...

An upper level storm system is currently moving across the
region through Tuesday. A cold front has dropped south over
the Plains early this morning. Much will depend on how far
north the front rebounds across the Plains for this afternoon
for highs. Over the mountains, snow will be ongoing into
Tuesday afternoon. Heavy accumulations are expected. Over
the San Luis Valley, winds will likely gust in the 40 to 45
mph range. Beyond Tuesday, periods of light snow will remain
possible over the mountain areas.

Excellent smoke dispersions will be expected through the next
couple of days across the region.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
