Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
259 PM MDT Tue Mar 28 2017

.Discussion...

A moist Pacific storm system will spread widespread rain and
mountain snows across southern Colorado tonight and Wednesday with
the heaviest precipitation falling on the northeast facing slopes
of the Sangre De Cristo and Wet mountains and the southern I-25
corridor. This system will exit the region on Wednesday with
precipitation winding down from northwest to southeast through the
afternoon and early evening.

Another moist storm system will spread the potential for another
round of heavy mountain snows and widespread rains to the district
Friday night through the weekend.

Poor to fair smoke dispersions can be expected across the district
tonight with dispersions rising into the Good to Very Good category
for most areas on Wednesday. Smoke dispersions on Thursday will
range from Good to Very good across the mountains and Fair across
the plains.
