THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NM AND TX.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT AND THE INFLOW OF DRIER AIR WILL REDUCE THE
THREAT OF THUNDERSTORMS TODAY AND TONIGHT. NEVERTHELESS THE AIR MASS
WILL REMAIN MOIST AND UNSTABLE ENOUGH FOR ISOLATED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE LOWER ELEVATIONS WITH SCATTERED STORMS OVER
THE HIGHER MOUNTAINS...MAINLY FROM MID AFTERNOON THROUGH THE
EVENING. A FEW STORMS MAY PRODUCE WIND GUSTS TO 60 MPH AND BRIEF
HEAVY RAINFALLS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON THERE WILL BE A CHANCE FOR
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EACH DAY WITH MOST ACTIVITY OCCURRING OVER
THE HIGHER MOUNTAINS AND NEAR THE ARIZONA BORDER. BRIEF HEAVY RAINS
AND WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH ARE POSSIBLE WITH SEVERAL STORMS.

A WEAK COLD FRONT WILL BRING INCREASING CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY. A FEW STORMS MAY
PRODUCE HEAVY RAINFALLS WITH ISOLATED AREAS OF FLASH FLOODING
OCCURRING. WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH AND SMALL HAIL ALSO POSSIBLE.
