THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NM AND TX.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

VERY WARM TEMPERATURES WILL OCCUR ACROSS THE LOWLANDS THIS
AFTERNOON. AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES WILL BE CLOSE TO 100 DEGREES FOR
MUCH OF THE LOWLANDS. ATMOSPHERIC MOISTURE WILL INCREASE ACROSS
THE AREA TODAY AND TONIGHT WITH SCATTERED MOUNTAIN THUNDERSTORMS
DEVELOPING THIS AFTERNOON...WHICH WILL SPREAD INTO THE LOWLANDS
TONIGHT. THESE STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING PERIODS OF
MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL...SMALL HAIL...FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND
STRONG WIND GUSTS UP TO 55 MPH. LOCALIZED FLOODING FROM HEAVY
RAINFALL MAY OCCUR IN NORMALLY DRY ARROYOS...ALONG SMALL STREAMS
AND AT LOW WATER CROSSINGS. PONDING OF WATER MAY OCCUR IN POORLY
DRAINED LOW LYING AREAS AND ROADS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

ABUNDANT MOISTURE WILL REMAIN IN PLACE THROUGH THE PERIOD WITH A
CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EACH DAY. SOME OF THE STORMS
WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN WITH LOCALIZED
FLOODING POSSIBLE. STRONG WIND GUSTS AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING WILL
ALSO ACCOMPANY THE STORMS. THUNDERSTORMS WILL GENERALLY BE MORE
FREQUENT OVER THE MOUNTAINS AND ALSO OCCUR MAINLY IN THE AFTERNOON
AND EVENING.
