THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NM AND TX.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT
THERE IS STILL ENOUGH MOISTURE AND WEAK INSTABILITY TO SUPPORT
SCATTERED MOUNTAIN SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND
EVENING. ISOLATED STORMS MAY DEVELOP OVER THE LOWLANDS WEST OF THE
CONTINENTAL DIVIDE. MAIN THREAT WILL BE SLOW MOVING STORMS PRODUCING
SOME BRIEF HEAVY RAIN AND ISOLATED EXCESSIVE RUNOFF.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL OCCUR ALMOST DAILY OVER AREA
MOUNTAINS...BUT LOWLAND AREAS EAST OF THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE WILL
REMAIN GENERALLY DRY WITH THE BEST CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY
ACROSS THE BORDERLAND COMING FRIDAY WITH A WEAK TROUGH MOVING
THROUGH THE AREA. ISOLATED STORMS COULD ALSO OCCUR ANY DAY WEST OF THE
DIVIDE. STORMS WILL CONTINUE TO BE SLOW MOVING AND COULD PRODUCE
LOCALIZED HEAVY RAIN AND FLOODING.
