THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NM AND TX.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A RELATIVELY MOIST AND SOMEWHAT UNSTABLE ATMOSPHERE REMAINS OVER
THE FORECAST AREA. HOWEVER HIGH PRESSURE ALSO RESIDES OVER THE
INTERMOUNTAIN WEST AND IS EXPANDING SOUTHEASTWARD OVER OUR REGION.
THIS MEANS A BATTLE BETWEEN INSTABILITY AND STORM CAPPING
INHIBITION. AREA MOUNTAINS WILL SEE THE BETTER CHANCES FOR STORMS
AS WELL AS AREAS WEST AND NORTH. ISOLATED TO NO STORMS OVER
HUDSPETH...OTERO LOWLANDS...AND EAST EL PASO COUNTY. ISOLATED
STORMS OVER THE LOWLANDS EAST AND NORTH OF EL PASO...SCATTERED
OVER SACRAMENTO MOUNTAINS AND GILA REGION. THREATS INCLUDE
LIGHTNING...SMALL HAIL...WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH. MINOR THREAT FOR
LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING OF LOW-LYING AREAS AND WATERWAYS/
ARROYOS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

EACH DAY WILL KEEP SOME CHANCES OF ADDITIONAL RAIN SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS AS THE MOIST AND MARGINALLY UNSTABLE ATMOSPHERIC
CONDITIONS REMAIN. THE FOCUS FOR STORM/RAIN ACTIVITY WILL FOCUS
WEST AND NORTH WITH THE SE PORTIONS OF THE REGION SEEING LOWERING
PCPN CHANCES AND MORE ISOLATED COVERAGE. BETTER RAIN/STORM CHANCES
WILL BE NE AREAS OVER THE GILA...SIERRA...LUNA...HIDALGO
COUNTIES. HOWEVER ALL AREAS WILL HAVE SOME CHANCE OF STORMS.
THREATS WILL CONTINUE TO BE ISOLATED MODERATE HAIL...GUSTY
OUTFLOWS...AND LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING.

SPOTTERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO CALL IN REAL-TIME REPORTS OF
SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL...INTENSE RAINFALL RATES...FLOODING...
