...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 AM CDT FOR
NORTHERN VAL VERDE COUNTY...

AT 437 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING
HEAVY RAIN OVER NORTHEASTERN VAL VERDE COUNTY. ALSO...WHILE RAIN HAS
CEASED IN OTHER PARTS OF THE WARNED AREA...MULTIPLE INCHES OF
RAINFALL FROM THE LAST FEW HOURS ARE LIKELY STILL RESULTING IN FLASH
FLOOD IMPACTS.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT MAY BE EXPERIENCING FLOODING INCLUDE...
JUNO...PANDALE...DEVILS RIVER STATE NATURAL AREA...HACKBERRY CROSSING
AND BAKERS CROSSING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TURN AROUND...DON`T DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...FARMLAND...AND OTHER LOW LYING
SPOTS.

FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT. IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE
YOU ARE RELATIVE TO STREAMS...RIVERS...OR CREEKS WHICH CAN BECOME
KILLERS IN HEAVY RAINS. CAMPERS AND HIKERS SHOULD AVOID STREAMS OR
CREEKS.
