NORTHEASTERN BLANCO...SOUTHWESTERN TRAVIS AND NORTHERN HAYS
COUNTIES...

AT 742 PM CDT...NWS METEOROLOGISTS CONTINUED TO DETECT THUNDERSTORMS
PRODUCING FLASH FLOODING OVER NORTHEASTERN BLANCO AND NORTHERN HAYS
COUNTIES. RAINFALL RATES FROM THE STRONGER STORMS HAVE FALLEN TO
AROUND AN INCH PER HOUR...BUT ADDITIONAL FLASH FLOODING WILL REMAIN
POSSIBLE FROM NEAR PEDERNALES FALLS STATE PARK TO JUST NORTH OF
DRIFTWOOD THROUGH AT LEAST 930 PM.

LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO DRIPPING
SPRINGS...KYLE...DRIFTWOOD AND BUDA

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES
AS WELL AS OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT QUICKLY. MOVE
UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS
SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
