This river statement is for the Guadalupe River...San Marcos River...Sandies
Creek.

For the San Marcos River below Luling.
* Latest stage:               9.0 feet at 8 PM Sunday.
* Flood Stage:                20.0 feet.
* Bankfull Stage:             11.0 feet.
* Forecast:  No flooding is expected. The river is expected
  to rise above action stage again around 1 PM Monday due to
  upstream water. The river is expected to crest around 12.5 feet
  6 PM Monday before falling below action stage again around 5 AM
  Tuesday morning.

For the Guadalupe River at Gonzales.
* Latest stage:               25.0 feet at 8 PM Sunday.
* Flood Stage:                31.0 feet.
* Bankfull Stage:             17.0 feet.
* Forecast:  No flooding is expected. The river is expected to crest
  around 25.3 feet 12 AM Monday morning before falling...but still
  remaining above action stage.

For the Sandies Creek Near Westhoff.
* Latest stage:               2.8 feet at 8 PM Sunday.
* Flood Stage:                21.0 feet.
* Bankfull Stage:             12.0 feet.
* Forecast:  No flooding is expected. The creek is expected to crest
  around 8.5 feet 6 AM Tuesday...well below action stage.
  This is the last forecast for this event.

For the Guadalupe River Near Cuero.
* Latest stage:               9.6 feet at 7 PM Sunday.
* Flood Stage:                24.0 feet.
* Bankfull Stage:             19.0 feet.
* Forecast:  No flooding is expected. The river is expected to crest
  around 19.3 feet by 6 PM Tuesday...just above action stage. The river
  is expected to fall below action stage by 6 AM Wednesday morning.


Scattered to widespread showers are forecast through early Monday
afternoon.
