ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

THE MAIN THREAT FROM ANY THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING
AND GUSTY WINDS.

DISCUSSION...

A DISTURBANCE WILL PUSH INTO NORTH GEORGIA THIS EVENING...BRINGING
SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM CHANCES BACK TO THE STATE. BEST CHANCES FOR
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE THIS EVENING ACROSS FAR NORTH GEORGIA...THEN
SPREAD SOUTHWARD INTO TUESDAY MORNING.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...

A FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL SINK INTO TENNESSEE OVERNIGHT. MEANWHILE A
SERIES OF SHORT WAVES WILL MOVE ACROSS THE TENNESSEE VALLEY
THROUGH SUNDAY. THIS WILL KEEP A CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE REGION...ESPECIALLY ACROSS NORTH
GEORGIA...AND MAINLY DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS. A FEW
STORMS COULD CONTAIN GUSTY WINDS AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN.
