.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...

THE COMBINATION OF A COLD AIRMASS IN PLACE AND A SERIES OF UPPER
LEVEL DISTURBANCES WILL BRING THE POTENTIAL OF WINTRY WEATHER TO
PORTIONS OF NORTH GEORGIA LATE SUNDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK.
THE BEST CHANCES FOR ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL WILL BE ACROSS THE
MOUNTAINS OF NORTHERN GEORGIA.

OUTSIDE OF THE NORTH GEORGIA MOUNTAINS...SNOW MAY MIX WITH RAIN AT TIMES
THROUGH TUESDAY. LIGHT ACCUMULATIONS ARE POSSIBLE MAINLY ALONG AND
NORTH OF INTERSTATE 20 AND WEST OF INTERSTATE 85. VERY LIGHT SNOW
OR FLURRIES MAY EVEN BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE SOUTHERN METRO
AREAS...WITH LITTLE OR NO ACCUMULATION EXPECTED.

ANY LINGERING MOISTURE ON THE ROADWAYS MAY LEAD TO THE FORMATION
OF BLACK ICE AS FAR SOUTH AS THE ATLANTA METRO AREA MONDAY AND
TUESDAY NIGHTS.

PLEASE MONITOR FOR UPDATES FROM THIS OFFICE OR LOCAL NEWS OUTLETS
THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK.
