THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL
GEORGIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE ACROSS NORTHERN AND WESTERN PORTIONS
OF NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA THIS MORNING...AND ACROSS EASTERN
PORTIONS OF THE STATE INTO THE EARLY AFTERNOON. THERE IS A VERY
SMALL RISK OF A STRONG TO MARGINALLY SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ACROSS THE
EAST THROUGH THE DAY.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

THE PRIMARY THREAT FROM ANY THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE BRIEF PERIODS OF
FREQUENT LIGHTNING...GUSTY WINDS AND HEAVY RAIN.

DISCUSSION...

INSTABILITY IS SOMEWHAT LIMITED AND ANY UPPER-LEVEL SUPPORT FOR
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE LIFTING NORTH AND EAST OF THE AREA THROUGH THE
MORNING...HOWEVER A COLD FRONT SWEEPING THROUGH THE REGION MAY STILL
PRODUCE ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. THERE IS JUST ENOUGH INSTABILITY
ACROSS THE EASTERN PORTIONS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA FOR A
MARGINAL RISK OF AN ISOLATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM THROUGH MIDDAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...

CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS RETURN TO THE REGION BY WEDNESDAY THROUGH
FRIDAY.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

THE PRIMARY HAZARD FROM ANY THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE FREQUENT
LIGHTNING...GUSTY WINDS AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT REQUESTED...BUT SPOTTERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO
SUBMIT REPORTS OF SEVERE WEATHER THROUGH THE WEB BY GOING TO
WEATHER.GOV/ATLANTA.
