...WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 11 AM EST TUESDAY
FOR THE NORTH GEORGIA MOUNTAINS ABOVE 2000 FEET...

...FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 10 AM EST TUESDAY FOR
PARTS OF CENTRAL GEORGIA...


WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

VERY COLD WIND CHILLS OF 5 DEGREES OR LESS AT ELEVATIONS ABOVE
2000 FEET OVER THE NORTH GEORGIA MOUNTAINS ARE EXPECTED BEGINNING
LATE TONIGHT. REFER TO THE WIND CHILL PRODUCT /WSWFFC/ FOR MORE
INFORMATION.

FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TONIGHT. ALL INTEREST ACROSS
NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA ARE ADVISED TO PROTECT PEOPLE... PETS...
PIPES AND TENDER VEGETATION.

DISCUSSION...
STRONG NORTH WINDS WILL USHER IN A VERY COLD AIR MASS TONIGHT.
THIS WILL RESULT IN FREEZING TEMPERATURES IN THE 20S AND LOWER 30S
FOR MUCH OF NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA TONIGHT. THE STRONG WINDS
AND COLD TEMPERATURES WILL ALSO RESULT IN DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS
ACROSS THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF NORTH GEORGIA THAT COULD RESULT
IN FROST BITE AND HYPOTHERMIA IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...

VERY COLD WIND CHILLS CAN BE EXPECTED OVER PORTIONS OF THE NORTH
GEORGIA MOUNTAINS THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING. A COLD ARCTIC AIRMASS
WILL CONTINUE OVER THE AREA FOR TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY... POSSIBLY
BREAKING RECORDS FOR MUCH OF THE AREA. WEDNESDAY MORNING WILL SEE
LOWS IN THE TEENS FOR SOME AREAS...BUT AT LEAST LOWER TO MID 20S.
OTHERWISE... NO OTHER HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
