THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHWEST
AND NORTH CENTRAL GEORGIA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT...

SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS MUCH OF
NORTH GEORGIA THROUGH THIS EVENING. ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS
WILL BE SPOTTY BUT A QUICK DUSTING TO 1/2 INCH IS POSSIBLE WITH ANY
HEAVIER BURSTS OF SNOW. THIS WILL CREATE SOME SLICK SPOTS ON ROADS...
ESPECIALLY BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR AREAS MAINLY ALONG AND
EAST OF A LINE FROM ROME TO CANTON TO CLEVELAND. A WIND CHILL
ADVISORY IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST GEORGIA...
MAINLY EAST AND NORTH OF A LINE FROM EATON TO DAWSONVILLE TO
CLEVELAND.

SNOW WILL TAPER OFF THIS EVENING WITH JUST A FEW FLURRIES LINGERING
OVERNIGHT. ANY RESIDUAL SNOW OR WATER WILL QUICKLY FREEZE AS
TEMPERATURES FALL TO THE 20S BY MIDNIGHT. BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES
WILL BE MOST PRONE TO ICY CONDITIONS...WHICH WILL LINGER EVEN AFTER
THE SNOW ENDS.

GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL COUPLE WITH VERY COLD TEMPERATURES TO
PRODUCE WIND CHILLS FROM MINUS FIVE DEGREES TO 5 DEGREES LATE
TONIGHT ACROSS EXTREME NORTHEAST AND NORTH CENTRAL GEORGIA.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY
MORNING. VERY COLD TEMPERATURES COMBINED WITH GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS
WILL PRODUCE WIND CHILL VALUES BETWEEN MINUS 5 AND PLUS 5 WEDNESDAY
NIGHT THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY MORNING.

ANY LINGERING MOISTURE ON THE ROADWAYS MAY LEAD TO THE FORMATION
OF BLACK ICE WEDNESDAY NIGHT.

A VERY COLD ARCTIC AIRMASS WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION ON SATURDAY
AND SOME OF THE COLDEST TEMPERATURES OF THE WINTER SEASON ARE
EXPECTED ON SUNDAY ACROSS ALL OF NORTH GEORGIA. SOME WINTER
PRECIPITATION IS POSSIBLE ON MONDAY BUT IT IS STILL TOO EARLY TO
FORECAST WITH ANY CONFIDENCE ANY ACCUMULATIONS.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH TONIGHT BUT SPOTTERS ARE
ENCOURAGED TO REPORT SNOW AND ROAD CONDITIONS THROUGH WEDNESDAY
MORNING.
