THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL GEORGIA...NORTHEAST GEORGIA...NORTHWEST GEORGIA AND WEST CENTRAL GEORGIA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

THE COMBINATION OF A COLD AIRMASS IN PLACE AND A SERIES OF UPPER
LEVEL DISTURBANCES WILL BRING THE POTENTIAL OF WINTRY WEATHER TO
PORTIONS OF NORTH GEORGIA THROUGH EARLY WEDNESDAY. A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR AREAS MAINLY ALONG AND EAST OF A
LINE FROM ROME TO CANTON TO CLEVELAND. A WIND CHILL ADVISORY IS
ALSO IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST GEORGIA...MAINLY EAST AND
NORTH OF A LINE FROM EATON TO DAWSONVILLE TO CLEVELAND.

LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS AND FLURRIES ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS MUCH OF NORTH
GEORGIA THROUGH TONIGHT. PATCHY BLACK ICE WILL BE POSSIBLE WHERE
TEMPERATURES ARE BELOW FREEZING AND MOISTURE LINGERS ON ROADWAYS.
HIGH WINDS AND COLD TEMPERATURES WILL COMBINE TO PRODUCE WIND
CHILLS FROM MINUS FIVE DEGREES TO 5 DEGREES THROUGH TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...

LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH EARLY WEDNESDAY. THE HIGHEST
ACCUMULATIONS OF SNOW ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS OF
NORTH GEORGIA GEORGIA. A DUSTING TO UP TO AN INCH OF SNOW IS
POSSIBLE IN THE LOWER ELEVATIONS NORTH OF THE ATLANTA METRO AREA.
FLURRIES ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS PORTIONS OF GEORGIA SOUTH OF THE
ATLANTA METRO.

THE WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY
MORNING.

ANY LINGERING MOISTURE ON THE ROADWAYS MAY LEAD TO THE FORMATION
OF BLACK ICE WEDNESDAY NIGHT.

A VERY COLD ARCTIC AIRMASS WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION ON SATURDAY
AND SOME OF THE COLDEST TEMPERATURES OF THE WINTER SEASON ARE
EXPECTED ON SUNDAY ACROSS ALL OF NORTH GEORGIA. SOME WINTER
PRECIPITATION IS POSSIBLE ON MONDAY BUT IT IS STILL TOO EARLY TO
FORECAST WITH ANY CONFIDENCE ANY ACCUMULATIONS.

SOME LIGHT RAIN AND SNOW FLURRIES ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS MUCH OF
CENTRAL GEORGIA THROUGH TONIGHT. NO ACCUMULATIONS OR IMPACTS ARE
EXPECTED AS A RESULT OF ANY WINTRY PRECIPITATION.  HIGH WINDS AND
COLD TEMPERATURES WILL COMBINE TO PRODUCE WIND CHILLS FROM 10 TO
20 DEGREES OVERNIGHT TONIGHT.
