This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and Central Georgia.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...
Thunderstorms will move into west Georgia this afternoon and
last through the overnight hours. There is a Slight Risk for
severe thunderstorms for portions of western central Georgia during
this period, with damaging winds and a brief tornado being the
primary hazards of concern.
Heavy rainfall will also be a concern with some locations across
western central Georgia seeing between 2 to 4 inches of rainfall.
Localized flash flooding and river flooding will be possible
through the overnight period in these locations.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday...
Thursday, a Slight Risk for severe thunderstorms will be possible
for portions of eastern central Georgia where damaging wind gusts
and a brief tornado will be possible.
