.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE
IN FROM WEST RIVER AND CONTINUE ACROSS THE MISSOURI VALLEY. SOME
THUNDERSTORMS MAY CONTAIN SMALL HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS BUT SEVERE
WEATHER APPEARS UNLIKELY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

WHILE THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
WEAK THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE FORECAST AREA SUNDAY...THE FOCUS FOR
STRONG TO POTENTIALLY SEVERE STORMS SHIFTS TO THE JAMES VALLEY
AND SISSETON HILLS. THE PROBABILITY FOR WIDESPREAD SEVERE WEATHER
IS LOW...HOWEVER AN ISOLATED SEVERE STORM OR TWO MAY DEVELOP WITH
HAIL BEING THE MAIN THREAT.

MINNESOTA AND NORTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA.

THE RANGELAND FIRE DANGER WILL REACH THE VERY HIGH CATEGORY TODAY
WITH TEMPERATURES SOME 10 TO 20 DEGREES ABOVE AVERAGE ALONG WITH
SOUTH TO SOUTHEAST WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 35 MPH.

THERE IT THE POTENTIAL FOR WEAK THUNDERSTORMS TO DEVELOP ACROSS
EASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA AND WESTERN MINNESOTA AFTER MIDNIGHT. SEVERE
WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED.
