This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of west central
Minnesota, central South Dakota, north central South Dakota, and
northeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Strong to severe storms are possible across the area today, with
an enhanced threat across northeast South Dakota and west central
Minnesota. Large hail and damaging winds are possible, with a
threat for a couple tornadoes across northeast South Dakota and
west central Minnesota.

High heat indices from 100 degrees to as high as 110 degrees are
forecast this afternoon across central and south central South
Dakota.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

The unsettled weather pattern will continue with strong to severe
storms possible across the region Thursday into Friday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be necessary this afternoon, especially
across northeast South Dakota and west central Minnesota.
