THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF WEST CENTRAL
MINNESOTA...CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA...NORTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA AND
NORTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

DANGEROUS FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED FOR AREAS ALONG AND
WEST OF THE JAMES RIVER VALLEY TODAY. NORTHWEST WIND GUSTS UP TO 30
OR 40 MPH ARE POSSIBLE...AND WILL COMBINE WITH LOW RELATIVE
HUMIDITY AND DRY DEAD FUELS TO POTENTIALLY RESULT IN RAPID AND
INTENSE GRASSLAND FIRES.

EAST OF THE JAMES RIVER VALLEY...SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH THE
MORNING HOURS. THERE SHOULD BE A BREAK IN PRECIPITATION EARLY IN
THE AFTERNOON...BEFORE ADDITIONAL ISOLATED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE LATE IN THE AFTERNOON.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

THE NEXT BEST CHANCES FOR PRECIPITATION WILL BE ASSOCIATED WITH A
STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WHICH IS EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO THE
REGION BY SUNDAY.
