Winds will continue to increase out of the southeast today, reaching sustained wind speeds between 10-15 mph with gusts to 20-25 mph today. Sunny skies for most of today will promote efficient daytime mixing, resulting in critical RHs between 20-25 percent as early as noon and potentially lasting until 7 PM. Shortest time window for critical RHs is expected east of I-75, with longest period of critical RHs anticipated across areas along and west of US-131. RHs mixing into the upper teens will be possible for a few hours during mid afternoon. Chances for showers and thunderstorms returns tonight, and multiple rounds of chances are anticipated through this weekend into early next week -- likely bringing at least some relief to very dry fine fuels.
