This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
North Dakota, northwest North Dakota, south central North Dakota,
southeast North Dakota, and southwest North Dakota.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Near critical fire weather conditions are forecast across
southwest North Dakota this afternoon.

For late tonight, strong westerly winds are forecast to develop
across northern North Dakota and the upper James River Valley.
Sustained westerly winds of 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph are
expected. A Wind Advisory is in effect.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Strong westerly winds with gusts of 45 to 50 mph will continue
across northern North Dakota and the upper James River Valley
through Wednesday afternoon.

A Fire Weather Watch is in effect for northern and much of central
North Dakota Wednesday afternoon. Strong winds and dry conditions
may result in rapid fire spread.
