...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CHEROKEE COUNTY THROUGH 715 AM
CDT...

At 627 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles north of Cave Spring to near Slackland.
Movement was southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Piedmont, Centre, Cedar Bluff, Centre Municipal Airport, Forney,
Leesburg, Tennala, Slackland, Pleasant Gap, Western Weiss Lake,
Eastern Weiss Lake, Moshat, Ball Flat, Cornwall Furnace Park, Coloma,
Weiss Dam, Spring Garden, Howells Crossroads, and Waterhouse.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 AM CDT for northeastern
and east central Alabama.
