* WHAT...Heavy snow. Total snow accumulations between 6 and 10
inches.
* WHERE...Beartooth Foothills and Red Lodge Foothills.
* WHEN...Until noon MDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Roads will become slushy, slick and hazardous. Travel
could be difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the
Wednesday morning and evening commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Cold and wet conditions will be hazardous to
young livestock. The heaviest snow will fall from late this
evening through early Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Recreation in the high country will be impacted by heavy
snow and blowing snow making recreation activities difficult to
dangerous at times.

* WHERE...In Montana, Pryor/Northern Bighorn Mountains. In Wyoming,
Northeast Bighorn Mountains.
* WHEN...Until 6 PM MDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Heavy wet snow and gusty winds may cause tree and power
line damage resulting in power outages. Recreation in the high
country will be impacted by heavy accumulating snow and near
whiteout conditions at times. Travel could be very difficult to
impossible on Highway 14 over the Bighorn mountains.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Expect avalanche danger to increase. If you
are heading to the high country be prepared for dangerous winter
conditions. Be sure to let someone know your plans in case you
become stranded.

Persons should consider delaying travel through the warned area. If
travel is absolutely necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider
taking a winter storm kit along with you, including such items as
tire chains, booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra
clothing. Also take water, a first aid kit, and anything else that
would help you survive in case you become stranded.
