...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Maine...

  Piscataquis River Above Dover-Foxcroft affecting Piscataquis
  County.

For the Piscataquis River...including Blanchard, Dover-Foxcroft,
Abbot, Medford...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Piscataquis River above Dover-Foxcroft.

* WHEN...Until this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Back Road in Abbot flooded. Floodwaters
  encroach on Guilford Recreational Fields.
  At 12.0 feet, Basement flooding is possible in several properties
  in Dover-Foxcroft.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:30 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 11.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 9 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 1:30 AM EDT Saturday was 11.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    this morning and continue falling to 5.5 feet Monday evening.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    11.7 feet on 12/21/1957.
