Sunny skies are expected today as high pressure persists over the
region. Winds will be from the south through today with speeds of
5 to 8 mph. Min RH today will be dropping as low as 26 percent
mid to late this afternoon as dry air aloft is mixed to the
surface. Smoke dispersal today will be increasing from poor at
0900 CDT this morning to excellent this afternoon as the nocturnal
inversion is eroded away. Widespread rain arrives tomorrow around
midday and will persist through the day with southeast winds.
