This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Freezing rain tonight combined with a light wintry mix that fell
earlier this evening will lead to slippery stretches on area roads
overnight. Those traveling should exercise extreme
caution...especially on elevated surfaces like bridges and
overpasses which may be icy. Please read the latest winter
weather messages for more information.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

A wintry mix of rain, freezing rain, and snow is expected Friday
night through Saturday morning across eastern portions of
northwest Wisconsin. A wintry mix returns again Saturday night
through Sunday morning, as well as Sunday night through Monday


Snow spotters are requested to report precipitation type...and
measurements of snow or ice accumulations to the National Weather
Service. Spotters and the public can also report precipitation
type with the free M-PING smartphone app.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Nearshore
waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Increasing northeast winds Friday night will result in building
waves across western lake superior and lead to hazardous
conditions for small craft. A small craft advisory will be needed.
These conditions may persist into Saturday evening.
