THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND
NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...OVERNIGHT TONIGHT

CHNACES FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL PERSIST ACROSS THE NORTHLAND
OVERNIGHT AS A WEATHER DISTURBANCE MOVES EASTWARD ALONG THE CANADIAN
BORDER. SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS OVER NORTHWEST MINNESOTA WILL MOVE
SOUTHEASTWARD OVERNIGHT...AFFECTING MUCH OF THE NORTHLAND...AND
MOVING INTO NORTHWEST WISCONSIN AFTER MIDNIGHT. WHILE THE THREAT OF
SEVERE WEATHER IS FAIRLY LOW...SOME OF THE STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO BE
STRONG ENOUGH TO PRODUCE FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING...VERY
HEAVY DOWNPOURS AND WIND GUSTS UP TO 45 MPH.  IN ADDITION...A FEW OF
THE STRONGEST STORMS COULD BRIEFLY PRODUCE DIME TO NICKEL SIZE HAIL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER CENTRAL MINNESOTA AND
EXTREME WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. THE STORMS
WILL LIKELY INCREASE IN COVERAGE AND INTENSITY THROUGH THE LATE
AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING...WITH A FEW OF THESE STORMS POTENTIALLY
BECOMING SEVERE. LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS...LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL ARE EXPECTED.  IN ADDITION...A THREAT FOR TORNADOES COULD
DEVELOP IN A ZONE ALONG A WARM FRONT OR OUTFLOW BOUNDARY IN AREAS
FROM THE BRAINERD LAKES REGION...EASTWARD TO LAKE MILLE LACS AND
PINE AND BURNETT COUNTIES.  THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY OF A
SIGNIFICANT SEVERE WEATHER THREAT WEDNESDAY EVENING...ESPECIALLY
ACROSS THE SOTHERN SECTIONS OF THE DULUTH CWA...AND PEOPLE SHOULD
STAY CURRENT WITH THE LATEST WEATHER INFORMATION AND POSSIBLE
WATCHES OR WARNINGS THAT MAY BE ISSUED ON WEDNESDAY.

ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE AGAIN THURSDAY. STORMS COULD
BECOME STRONG TO SEVERE OVER PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL AND
NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.

WESTERN LAKE SUPERIOR.

.DAY ONE...OVERNIGHT TONIGHT

ANOTHER ROUND OF THUNDERSTORMS IS EXPECTED TO AFFECT MUCH OF WESTERN
LAKE SUPERIOR AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. SOME STORMS WILL PRODUCE
FREQUENT LIGHTNING...SMALL HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS UP TO 30 KNOTS...AS
WELL AS LOCALLY HIGHER WAVE HEIGHTS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING...AND
AGAIN THURSDAY. A FEW OF THESE STORMS WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO
BECOME STRONG TO SEVERE WITH HAIL AND STRONG WINDS POSSIBLE.

GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL PRODUCE BUILDING WAVES THURSDAY NIGHT
AND FRIDAY. A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MAY BE NEEDED FOR PORTIONS OF
WESTERN LAKE SUPERIOR DURING THIS TIME.
