THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND
NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY HAS BEEN POSTED FOR AREAS FROM DULUTH
AND CLOQUET NORTHWARD TO THE INTERNATIONAL BORDER STARTING LATER
TONIGHT AND LASTING INTO SATURDAY. A FAST MOVING AND STRONG LOW PRESSURE
SYSTEM WILL BRING AN ICY MIXTURE OF FREEZING RAIN...SLEET AND SNOW
TO THE ADVISORY AREA. ICE ACCUMULATION SHOULD REMAIN UNDER A
QUARTER INCH...AND SNOWFALL WILL LIKELY RANGE FROM 2 TO 6 INCHES
IN THE ARROWHEAD AND BORDER REGION TO AN INCH OR TWO FURTHER
SOUTH. THERE IS A CHANCE FOR SOME HIGHER ICE ACCUMULATIONS IF LOW
LEVEL TEMPERATURES WARM SLOWER THAN EXPECTED FROM THE DULUTH AREA

THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY CONTINUES INTO SATURDAY MORNING...BUT
INTO THE AFTERNOON OVER THE ARROWHEAD. THERE WILL BE SOME ADDITIONAL
SNOW AND ICE ACCUMULATION THROUGHOUT THE MORNING. THERE IS A
CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS SATURDAY AFTERNOON OVER SOUTHERN AREAS...AND
ONCE AGAIN FROM TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT OF NEXT WEEK.

SATURDAY MORNING.
