THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND
NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

AREAS OF DENSE FOG WILL OCCUR TODAY...ESPECIALLY THROUGH THE
MORNING HOURS. SOME LIGHT ICING WILL BE POSSIBLE ON SOME UNTREATED
ROADS AS WELL DUE TO THE FOG AND DRIZZLE.

COLDER AIR WILL MOVE FROM WEST TO EAST ACROSS THE REGION TONIGHT.
SNOWFALL TONIGHT WILL BE FROM A DUSTING TO AN INCH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

MUCH COLDER TEMPERATURES WILL MOVE ACROSS THE NORTHLAND MONDAY ON
STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS. SNOW WILL OCCUR MONDAY INTO MONDAY EVENING
WITH SNOWFALL TOTALS FROM 1 INCH TO 5 INCHES DURING THE DAY MONDAY
WITH ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL MONDAY NIGHT ALONG THE SOUTH SHORE. THE
HIGHER ACCUMULATIONS MONDAY WILL OCCUR OVER NORTHEAST IRON COUNTY.
STRONG WINDS WILL CAUSE BLOWING AND DRIFTING AS WELL. THE SNOW
WILL DIMINISH MONDAY NIGHT FOR MOST AREAS...BUT CONTINUE ALONG THE
SOUTH SHORE OF LAKE SUPERIOR. A WINTER STORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT
FOR ASHLAND AND IRON COUNTIES...AND ADDITIONAL ADVISORIES MAY BE
NEEDED. STAY TUNED TO LATER FORECASTS AS SOME ADJUSTMENTS TO
THE SNOWFALL FORECAST MAY BE NEEDED AS THIS SYSTEM DEVELOPS.

A CLIPPER SYSTEM WILL BRING MORE THE POTENTIAL FOR SEVERAL INCHES
OF SNOW TUESDAY NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE
NORTHLAND.
