THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST
MINNESOTA AND NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

SNOW WILL SPREAD INTO NORTHEAST MINNESOTA FROM THE WEST LATE THIS
EVENING AND OVERNIGHT...BRINGING LIGHT SNOWFALL AMOUNTS TO THE
AREAS GENERALLY SOUTH OF THE HIGHWAY 2 AND WEST OF THE INTERSTATE
35 CORRIDOR. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF UP TO 1 INCH ARE FORECAST THROUGH
DAWN.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD INTO NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND
NORTHWEST WISCONSIN SUNDAY...BRINGING WIDESPREAD SNOWFALL TOTALS
OF 1 TO 3 INCHES. SOME AREAS ARE FORECAST TO GET 2 TO 4
INCHES...INCLUDING THE PRICE AND SAWYER COUNTIES OF NORTHWEST
WISCONSIN...AND FROM DULUTH UP THE NORTH SHORE TO THE
INTERNATIONAL BORDER. THE GREATEST SNOWFALL IS FORECAST ALONG AND
NEAR THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF COOK COUNTY NEAR THE NORTH SHORE. A
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE FAR NORTH SHORE
FOR LATE SUNDAY MORNING THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING. PLEASE READ THE
LATEST WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE FOR MORE INFORMATION.

ANOTHER SLOW MOVING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BRING A PROLONGED
PERIOD OF SNOW SHOWERS TO THE NORTHLAND TO BEGIN THE WORK WEEK.
PRECIPITATION WILL BEGIN MONDAY AS A RAIN/SNOW MIX AND GRADUALLY
CHANGE TO ALL SNOW MONDAY NIGHT. SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS WILL THEN
LINGER OFF AND ON THROUGH FRIDAY.

THERE IS ALSO A CHANCE OF LAKE ENHANCED SNOWFALL IN THE SNOWBELT
REGIONS OF NORTHWEST WISCONSIN WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

WATERS OF WESTERN LAKE SUPERIOR.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

A PASSING STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING STRONGER WINDS TO WESTERN LAKE
SUPERIOR SUNDAY THROUGH MONDAY MORNING. THE WIND AND RESULTANT
WAVES WILL CREATE CONDITIONS HAZARDOUS TO SMALLER VESSELS.

A SLOWER STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE THROUGH THE REGION TUESDAY THROUGH
FRIDAY. A PROLONGED PERIOD OF STRONG SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL BEGIN
TUESDAY. WINDS WILL INCREASE WEDNESDAY AND VEER WESTERLY...AND
EVENTUALLY NORTHWESTERLY THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. CONDITIONS WILL
BECOME HAZARDOUS TO SMALL CRAFT BY TUESDAY MORNING...AND
CONTINUING THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY MORNING.
