SNOW WILL MOVE THROUGH THE NORTHLAND THIS MORNING AND GRADUALLY
DIMINISH FROM WEST TO EAST THIS AFTERNOON. MUCH OF THE REGION CAN
EXPECT ABOUT 1 TO 2 INCHES OF ACCUMULATION...BUT LESS OVER FAR
NORTHERN MINNESOTA. THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS...UP TO AROUND 3
INCHES...ARE EXPECTED FROM ABOUT PINE COUNTY IN MINNESOTA TO PRICE
COUNTY IN NORTHWEST WISCONSIN...WHICH IS WEATHER A WINTER WEATHER
ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON. PLEASE READ THE
LATEST WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE FOR MORE INFORMATION.

THERE SHOULD BE A PERIOD OF DRY WEATHER LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND
EARLY THIS EVENING. HOWEVER...SLEET COULD DEVELOP LATER THIS
EVENING AND OVERNIGHT OVER MUCH OF THE NORTHLAND...AND WHICH COULD
BRING LIGHT SLEET ACCUMULATION. TRAVEL COULD BE DIFFICULT DUE TO
THE SLEET ON THE ROADS.

PARTS OF THE NORTH SHORE OF THE MINNESOTA ARROWHEAD...MAINLY NORTH
OF TWO HARBORS...COULD SEE UP TO A COUPLE INCHES OF SNOW
ACCUMULATION TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

LIGHT SLEET ACCUMULATION IS POSSIBLE FOR AREAS NEAR AND NORTH OF
HIGHWAY 2 SATURDAY.

A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE NORTHLAND SUNDAY.
TEMPERATURES WILL PLUMMET INTO SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY MORNING.
THE COMBINATION OF THE WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS...WHICH COULD BE
GUSTY...AND THE COLD TEMPERATURES WILL PROBABLY RESULT IN A PERIOD
OF HAZARDOUS WIND CHILL TEMPERATURES OF 25 TO 35 DEGREES BELOW
ZERO OVER NORTHEAST MINNESOTA. THE WIND CHILLS COULD BE MUCH
COLDER...ESPECIALLY NORTH OF THE IRON RANGE AND IN THE MINNESOTA
ARROWHEAD...IF THE WINDS ARE STRONGER THAN FORECAST.
