This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered snow showers today will reduce visibility to a mile or
less at times. Snow accumulation will be light, less than half an
inch over northeast Minnesota. Lake-effect snow over Bayfield,
Ashland, and Iron counties will yield up to 4 inches of
accumulation by early Sunday morning. The highest accumulation
will be over northern Iron County. A Winter Weather Advisory has
been issued for Iron County.

A few northwest wind gusts to 45 mph are forecast along the North
Shore this afternoon and early evening. The strong winds will
produce a crosswind along MN-61 and may be hazardous for high-
profile vehicles.

Gusty winds and relative humidity between 30 and 40 percent will
produce near-critical fire weather conditions over portions of
central Minnesota today.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Lake-effect snow showers continue over Bayfield, Ashland, and Iron
counties through early Monday morning. Total snow accumulation of
a dusting up to 8 inches are forecast by 7 AM Monday.

Near-critical fire weather conditions are forecast again Sunday
and are possible Monday through Thursday.
