This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Rain will spread across the Northland today ahead of a cool front
that will advance from the west. Northeast Minnesota and northwest
Wisconsin are forecast to receive between one-quarter of an inch
up to one inch of total rain accumulation through tonight, with
the lightest amounts expected from the Brainerd Lakes region north
towards Big Falls. Melting snow, along with the expected rain,
will likely result in some ponding of low-lying areas and
roadways.

There are chances of thunderstorms later this morning and
afternoon, continuing into the early evening hours, for portions
of northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Up to 2 inches of snow is possible over northern Lake and Cook
counties Wednesday evening.

There is potential for a winter storm to affect northwest
Wisconsin Thursday night through Saturday. Some accumulation is
expected, but the track of the storm is in doubt and will affect
amounts.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Skywarn Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
