This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

There is a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms over northeast
Minnesota for Wednesday afternoon and evening. Occasional cloud-
to-ground lightning, small hail to half-inch diameter, and wind
gusts to 40mph are possible with the strongest storms.

There is a 50 chance of northwest wind gusts in excess of 35 mph
Friday for the higher elevations of Duluth,the North Shore and
Bayfield Peninsula. We are also monitoring another system for
early next week with the potential for strong winds and
thunderstorms for the Upper Midwest.

Skywarn spotter activation is not anticipated this afternoon or
tonight.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

A Small Craft Advisory may (50-70% chance) be needed Thursday
afternoon through Friday for northwest wind gusts in excess of 25
kts.

Looking ahead, deep low pressure may approach western Lake
Superior early next week with strong winds.
