This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Critical fire weather conditions are expected over portions of
northern Minnesota through this evening. Sustained west winds of
15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph, relative humidity values of 15
to 25 percent, and dry fuels will allow fires to spread quickly.

There is a chance of thunderstorms Saturday afternoon and evening.


Skywarn Spotter activation will not be needed this afternoon and tonight.

waters of western Lake Superior.

Strong west winds will continue this evening and overnight. The
combination of wind and resultant waves will create conditions
