This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

A wintry mix will be possible over northern Minnesota into the
Minnesota Arrowhead late night into Tuesday morning. Some light
snow accumulation will be possible along with sleet and freezing
rain, with up to two inches of new snow accumulation possible. A
Winter Weather Advisory has been issued from midnight tonight
through 1000 am Tuesday due to the mix. See the latest winter

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

The wintry mix over northern Minnesota will change over to all
rain by mid- morning Tuesday.

There is a low probability of thunderstorms Tuesday morning
through early afternoon, near and south of Highway 2 in northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin. The storms are expected to be
relatively weak.

Snow spotters are requested to report precipitation type...and
measurements of snow or ice accumulations Tonight to the National
Weather Service. Spotters and the public can also report
precipitation type with the free M-PING smartphone app.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Nearshore
waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

There will be increasing east to northeast flow across western
Lake Superior overnight into Tuesday morning as an area of low
pressure approaches the region from the west. A Small Craft
Advisory has been issued for the Minnesota North Shore down to the
nearshore waters within the head of the Lake for late tonight
through much of Tuesday because of the winds and resulting waves.
