...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Black Hawk Creek at Hudson affecting Black Hawk County.

  Des Moines River at Fort Dodge affecting Webster County.

  West Fork Des Moines River at Humboldt affecting Humboldt County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE SUNDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The Des Moines River at Fort Dodge, or from the municipal
  power dam...to Lehigh.

* WHEN...Until late Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, water affects campgrounds in the
  downstream parks between Fort Dodge and Lehigh.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 11.8 feet and slowly
    rising.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.8
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage early Sunday morning.
  - Flood stage is 10.5 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY MORNING TO LATE SATURDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The Black Hawk Creek at Hudson, or from the Black
  Hawk-Grundy County line...to the Cedar River in Waterloo.

* WHEN...From Friday morning to late Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 14.5 feet, water affects portions of Ranchero Road
  west of US 63.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 11.7 feet and rising.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow morning to a crest of 14.5 feet tomorrow evening. It
    will then fall below flood stage early Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY SATURDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The West Fork Des Moines River at Humboldt, or from Joe
  Reasoner Dam...to the East Fork Des Moines River.

* WHEN...Until early Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, water impacts some homes along Country
  Club Drive.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 10.5 feet and steady.
  - Forecast...The river is at its crest of 10.5 feet and will
    remain steady through early Friday morning. It will then fall
    below flood stage Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
