central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

Periods of showers and thunderstorms are expected through this
evening. The primary threats are locally heavy rainfall and
lightning.

Some tributary rivers in eastern Iowa may rise above flood stage
