...MORE HEAVY RAINFALL DEVELOPING TODAY AND CONTINUING THROUGH
MONDAY...

A SLOW MOVING SURFACE BOUNDARY IS CURRENTLY EXTENDING FROM AROUND
BAUDETTE TO WAHPETON EARLY THIS MORNING. ANOTHER ROUND OF HEAVY
RAINFALL PRODUCING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIFT NORTHEAST
ALONG THIS BOUNDARY OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS. THE BOUNDARY WILL
DRIFT VERY SLOWLY TO THE EAST TODAY...ALLOWING THESE SHOWERS TO
CONTINUE OVER SOUTHEASTERN NORTH DAKOTA AND WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA
FOR MUCH OF THE DAY BEFORE ACTIVITY DECREASES OVERNIGHT TONIGHT. THE
HIGHEST RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL LIKELY BE OVER WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA
ALONG AND SOUTHEAST OF A PARK RAPIDS TO BRECKENRIDGE LINE.

ANOTHER SURGE OF MOISTURE WILL MOVE INTO THE AREA SUNDAY NIGHT
INTO MONDAY...ADDING ADDITIONAL RAINFALL TO THE REGION.

ANY AREAS THAT RECEIVE REPEATED HEAVY RAIN EVENTS TODAY INTO
EARLY NEXT WEEK COULD EXPERIENCE FLOODING ISSUES. THERE COULD BE
RISES ON LOCAL RIVERS...AND USUALLY FLOOD PRONE AREAS NEED TO PAY
ATTENTION TO LATER FORECASTS ON THIS HEAVY RAIN THREAT.

TOTAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HEAVIER AMOUNTS
ARE EXPECTED INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK.

STAY TUNED FOR LATER STATEMENTS AND FORECASTS ON THIS DEVELOPING
HEAVY RAIN SYSTEM.
