FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR E ND...NW AND WC MN
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND FORKS ND
259 PM CDT FRI JUL 25 2014

.DISCUSSION...
A WEAK TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WILL PUSH EAST ACROSS THE AREA THROUGH
THE DAY...ALONG WITH THE THREAT FOR ANY PRECIPITATION. BY THIS
EVENING...CHANCES FOR ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
MAINLY EAST OF THE RED RIVER VALLEY...WITH CLEARING SKIES FROM THE
WEST. HIGHS WILL REACH THE UPPER 70S TO MID 80S.

A DRY NIGHT IS EXPECTED TONIGHT...AHEAD OF A STRONGER AREA OF LOW
PRESSURE WHICH WILL DROP SOUTHEAST OUT OF CANADA DURING THE WEEKEND
AND DRAG A COLD FRONT ACROSS THE AREA. THERE WILL BE A CHANCE FOR
ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS OR THUNDERSTORMS WITH THIS SYSTEM AT
TIMES THROUGH THE WEEKEND. SEASONABLE TEMPERATURES ON SATURDAY
WILL GIVE WAY TO COOLER TEMPERATURES FOR SUNDAY.
