THE TEAM INSPECTED AN AREA STARTING IN THE BLUEGRASS AREA AND
PROCEEDED EAST NORTHEAST TOWARD OYLEN. DAMAGE WAS FOUND AT TWO
POINTS WITHIN A HALF MILE OF EACH OTHER IN THE AREA ALONG 201ST
AVENUE...NORTH OF 220TH STREET...APPROXIMATELY 3 MILES EAST
NORTHEAST OF BLUEGRASS MINNESOTA IN THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF NORTH
GERMANY TOWNSHIP. THE TEAM FOUND 18-INCH DIAMETER POPLAR TREES
SNAPPED AT VARIOUS LEVELS FROM THE GROUND UP TO AROUND 10 FEET
ABOVE GROUND. FROM THIS DAMAGE IT APPEARS THAT THE TORNADO HAD
INTERMITENT GROUND CONTACT BETWEEN THESE POINTS AND LIKELY
CONTINUED FOR SOME INDETERMINATE DISTANCE INTO THE ACCESSIBLE
FOREST LANDS BEYOND.

FOLLOWING CATEGORIES.

EF0...WEAK......65 TO 85 MPH
EF1...WEAK......86 TO 110 MPH

EF4...VIOLENT...166 TO 200 MPH
