  Red River at East Grand Forks.

A High Water Notice is issued when river levels are high but are
expected to remain below flood stage for the forecast period.

Safety message...turn around, don`t drown...

 - Don`t travel through flooded areas!

 - Persons living in the Red River Basin should monitor river
   levels while the river is in, or near, flood.

A High Water Notice continues for...
* ...East Grand Forks...on the Red River.
* At 09 AM Saturday March 04 the Stage was 27.2 feet.
* Minor Flood Stage...28.0 feet.
* The river fell below flood stage 01 PM Friday March 03.
* The Red River near East Grand Forks will fall the next
  several days before rising slightly in response to the warmer
  temperatures acting to melt more snow and ice.
* A high water notice is issued when river levels are high but are
  expected to remain below flood stage for the forecast period.
