A STRONG SPRING STORM SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO BRING A VARIETY OF
HAZARDOUS WEATHER CONDITIONS TO THE REGION TODAY THROUGH MONDAY.
RAIN SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA TODAY
AND TONIGHT...WITH SEVERE STORMS POSSIBLE IN PARTS OF WEST-
CENTRAL AND NORTHWEST MINNESOTA. PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN WITH THE
THREAT FOR PONDING AND RISING STREAMS IS POSSIBLE AS WELL.

A COLD FRONT WILL PUSH THROUGH THE REGION TODAY. NORTH WINDS
OF 30 TO 35 MPH...WITH GUSTS TO 50 MPH ARE EXPECTED BEHIND THE
COLD FRONT ACROSS EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA AND INTO THE RED RIVER
VALLEY IN MINNESOTA. WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DECREASE ON MONDAY.

SNOW AND SLEET WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE REGION AS WELL...
STARTING THIS EVENING IN THE DEVILS LAKE BASIN...AND ENDING ACROSS
NORTH-CENTRAL MINNESOTA MONDAY. ANY SNOW COMBINED WITH STRONG
NORTHERLY WINDS WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO CAUSE VERY LOW
VISIBILITIES AT TIMES. THE PRIMARY THREAT FOR SNOW ACCUMULATIONS
WILL BE IN THE DEVILS LAKE BASIN WHERE 1 TO 4 INCHES OF SNOW IS
POSSIBLE.
