THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHWEST
IOWA...SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA...EAST CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA AND
SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND THIS
EVENING ALONG HIGHWAY 14 AND WEST OF THE JAMES RIVER. THE CHANCE
FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE OVER SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA AFTER
SUNSET. ANY STORMS THAT DO DEVELOP WILL MOVE INTO SOUTHWEST
MINNESOTA AND NORTHWEST IOWA AFTER MIDNIGHT. A FEW OF THE STORMS
MAY PRODUCE SMALL HAIL UP TO PENNY SIZE AND WIND GUSTS UP TO 50
MPH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

THERE WILL BE CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS BOTH FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. A
FEW OF THE STORMS ON LATE FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING MAY PRODUCE
SMALL HAIL AND WIND GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH...BUT SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT
EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

UP TO 60 MPH.

THERE WILL BE CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS BOTH FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. A
FEW OF THE STORMS ON LATE FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING MAY PRODUCE
QUARTER SIZE HAIL AND WIND GUSTS UP TO 60 MPH. THE STORMS ON
SATURDAY ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE SEVERE.

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS THIS EVENING. THE CHANCE
FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE AFTER SUNSET IN SOUTHEAST SOUTH
DAKOTA AND EXTREME NORTHEAST NEBRASKA. THESE STORMS WILL MOVE INTO
NORTHWEST IOWA AFTER MIDNIGHT. A FEW OF THE STORMS MAY PRODUCE HAIL
UP TO PENNY SIZE AND WIND GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH.

THUNDERSTORMS MAY CONTINUE INTO FRIDAY MORNING OVER NORTHWEST IOWA
BUT THESE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE SEVERE. ADDITIONAL
THUNDERSTORMS MAY DEVELOP BY LATE AFTERNOON NEAR THE MISSOURI RIVER
AND THEN MOVE EAST INTO NORTHWEST IOWA DURING THE EVENING AND
OVERNIGHT. A FEW OF THESE STORMS MAY PRODUCE QUARTER SIZE HAIL AND
WIND GUSTS TO 60 MPH. THERE IS ALSO THE POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY
RAINFALL WITH THESE STORMS ON FRIDAY NIGHT.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND
EVENING. THESE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE SEVERE.
