At 709 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles northwest of
Statesville, or near Stony Point, moving southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
         damage to trees and power lines.
