Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Texas
National Weather Service Houston/Galveston TX
252 PM CDT Wed May 8 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Low clouds mixed with patchy fog is expected again late tonight
into Thursday morning. As clouds lift and scatter, warm and humid
conditions are expected Thursday afternoon. Continued onshore
winds will keep humidity in place, with afternoon RH values in the
55 to 65 percent range inland, and around 70 percent near the
coast. Rain chances will increase mainly for areas north of I-10
Thursday afternoon to evening. There`s a chance some storms could
become strong to severe for those areas.
