...EF1 TORNADO CONFIRMED IN MASON COUNTY KENTUCKY...

The National Weather Service office in Wilmington, Ohio has
confirmed an EF1 tornado in Mason County Kentucky. The tornado
started near Minerva, Kentucky and lifted near the Ohio River.
The survey remains ongoing at this time, with additional details
still to come. The survey is in relation to the severe
thunderstorms that moved through the area on April 2, 2024.

A final assessment including results of the survey are expected
to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information
Statement by later this evening.
