...NWS JKL Starting the 2024 Frost Freeze Program...

In consultation with the University of Kentucky Agriculture
Weather Center and neighboring weather offices, NWS Jackson is
initiating the 2024 Frost-Freeze Program. Tender vegetation has
emerged and the gardening season has begun, leaving crops and
gardens vulnerable to frost and freeze damage. Through the growing
season, we will issued Frost Advisories, Freeze Watches and Freeze
Warnings - as needed.
