  Calcasieu River Near Oberlin

For the Calcasieu River...including Glenmora, Oakdale, Oberlin,
Kinder, White Oak Park, Salt Water Barrier...Minor flooding is
forecast.
For the Sabine River...including Burkeville, Bon Wier, Deweyville,
Orange...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Calcasieu River near White Oak Park.

* WHEN...Until early Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 3.0 feet, Water over lowest portions of Goos Ferry
  Road. Cars should be moved to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:35 PM CDT Friday the stage was 3.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:35 PM CDT Friday was 3.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Tuesday morning and continue falling to 1.6 feet Wednesday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 2.0 feet.

* WHERE...Calcasieu River near Glenmora.

* WHEN...Until early Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, When the river is falling and the gauge
  reading is forecast to be near 12 feet, flooding of forested areas
  near the river will occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 12.7 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:45 PM CDT Friday was 13.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Sunday morning and continue falling to 9.7 feet Wednesday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

    ending at 9:15 PM CDT Friday was 37.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 36.3 feet

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Sabine River near Deweyville.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding will occur. The
  lowest homes between Deweyville and the river begin to flood,
  especially in the Indian Lakes and River Oaks sections. Low-lying
  roads and a few homes in Southwestern Beauregard Parish have some
  flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 25.9 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:45 PM CDT Friday was 25.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 26.1
    feet Sunday morning.
  - Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
