Synopsis for the southern California coast and Santa Barbara
Channel including the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary
and National Park...at 03Z, or 8 PM PDT, a 1020 MB surface high
was 300 NM SW of Point Conception while a 1005 MB low was 500 NM
west of Oregon. Widespread gale force winds and steep seas
expected Saturday afternoon through Monday.
