A NEARLY STATIONARY AREA OF STEADY RAIN IS FALLING ACROSS PARTS OF
THE EASTERN DAKOTAS AND WEST CENTRAL...NORTHWEST AND CENTRAL
MINNESOTA.

THE RAIN IS LOCATED WEST OF A LINE FROM BRAINERD IN THE CENTRAL...TO
LITTLE FALLS...SAUK CENTRE...WILLMAR...GRANITE FALLS...AND CANBY IN
THE WEST CENTRAL AND IVANHOE IN THE SOUTHWEST.

THE LEADING EDGE IS NEARLY STATIONARY OR SLOWLY DRIFTING TO THE EAST
AT 5 MPH...AND WILL CHANGE LITTLE BETWEEN NOW AND 300.

RAINFALL ESTIMATES OF A FEW HUNDREDTHS INCH UP TO A TENTH INCH HAVE
FALLEN IN EASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA...AND VERY SIMILAR LIGHT AMOUNTS ARE
EXPECTED FOR WESTERN MINNESOTA THROUGH THE DAY TODAY.

DRY WEATHER IS EXPECTED ACROSS MOST OF SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA INCLUDING
THE TWIN CITY METRO AREA...PERIODS OF VERY LIGHT RAIN ARE EXPECTED TO
PERSIST OVER PARTS OF WESTERN AND CENTRAL MINNESOTA AND MOVE ACROSS
PARTS OF NORTHERN MINNESOTA THROUGH THE DAY.
